In the presence and participation of representatives and directors of some public and private agencies; This year, the forum aims to implement GS1 standards in the field of health care, in particular the protection of medical products ((drugs and medical equipment from forgery and fraud)) and consumer protection.

The forum witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Libyan Society for Numbering, represented by Mr. Dr. Al-Hadi Al-Shawish, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society, and the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, represented by Mr. A. Muhammad Al-Rayedh, Chairman of the Federation Management Committee. This memorandum aims to establish a framework for cooperation in the field of data exchange and benefit from the association’s consultations related to the application of the digitization system and the protection of documents and documents of the chambers of commerce and their general federation.

The forum also dealt with a set of technical presentations in the field of the association’s achievements since its inception, as well as presentations on systems for tracking medicines and medical equipment through supply chains, introducing the numbering system, protecting documents and documents, and other related technical topics.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libya Trade Network participated in the activities of this forum, accompanied by the Technical Affairs Adviser, based on the invitation he received from the President of the Libyan Numbering Society.

It is noteworthy that the Libya Trade Network is in the process of discussing the signing of a cooperation and work agreement with the Libyan Association for Numbering regarding the development of a numbering system to ensure follow-up of supply chains and circulation of goods and products in the Libyan market, based on common goals and specializations in support of the management program of the Libya Trade Network in the field of organizing the trade sector, digitizing products, developing commercial transactions and building a national trade database.
